Dear Blogging World,

Well, after pushing aside some serious rationalization about why I should never concede to blog, I decided to give in and join in with all of you fellow bloggers out there.
I still don't know how I feel about it.
I suppose it would be appropriate to introduce myself though.
My name is Amber.
I work at a dentist office and I love it.
I am a student at Weber State University studying Dental Hygiene with a minor in Nutrition Education (which is really a pointless minor, but hey, I love learning about nutrition and such so it has worked out quite nicely). Go to school to learn something you love!
I want  to go to graduate school someday to become a Registered Dietitian after I finish my dental hygiene degree.
I enjoy taking tests. Finals week is generally a good week for me.
My favorite food is...hmm...probably burritos. I love burritos. Mmmmm!
I love fruit. Blackberries are the most wonderful fruit created. This statement is not up for debate. Strawberries, oranges, peaches, raspberries, and blueberries are also quite wonderful.
My top three favorite movies are: The Sound of MusicIt's a Wonderful Life, and Chariots of Fire
Favorite Music: Muse is my favorite. After that, there is a whole plethora of stuff that I love listening to. As of recent, my favorites have been Regina Spektor (Love her to death. Her lyrics, plus the piano, plus her voice=one of the best musical combinations your ears will ever hear), Mindy Gledhill, Noah and the Whale (NATW), Mumford and Sons, and Florence + Machine.
I find great joy in running outside in the sunshine (or the rain), playing the piano, making attempts to play the geeeeetar (guitar), pretending I know how to play soccer, laughing myself sick because pretending to play soccer is that hilarious, spending time with my family and friends, playing games (card, board, etc.), boating, flying kites, hiking, and most everything really. I am easily entertained.
I live in Utah.
I am a Mormon.
I recently decided after nearly a year and half of pondering and praying about what to do with my life to take a break from school, work, boys, and everything I love to go and do something to show my love for others; and for my church: serve a mission for the Mormon Church.
I recently put my mission papers in and even more recently received my mission call to Raleigh, North Carolina. I will be leaving this June and will serve as a Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for the next year and half there.
I am completely ecstatic to have this opportunity to serve others and share to Gospel of Jesus Christ with them.
I love knowing that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is hard-core true.
That is all.
